In the cultural center of the area an archaeological collection with important neolithic findings from Vela spilja are on display.
Here you will also find the gallery of modern art with numerous works by famous painters and sculptors from the 2.nd half of the 20.th century. Most famous is a sculpture by Henry Moore, the only one in Croatia.
Vela Luka is a place for resting, sport and pleasure. There are many restaurants (with excellent wines and variety of fish dishes), as well as a large number of apartments.
